In order to set up media rules you must have created a bidding plan in your campaign.

The "Media"-tab handles specific media types.

Here you can choose between Categories and Site Pools

If no choices are being made, the system will deliver the campaign on all channels.

You also have the ability to select the following on In-stream video type:

- Mid-roll = The ad slot is during the video content.

- Post-roll = The ad slot is after video content ends.

Deals are pre-negotiated formats and placements directly between a publisher and the advertiser. For more information on deals, kindly contact your local Delta representative.

Please note: Do not forget to mark the checkbox for "Only Bid On Deals" if you wish for the bidding plan to only buy on the deal you have selected. Otherwise it will buy on all inventory available as well as the deal.

Media rules

  • Categories - Categories are sites that are categorized within a certain category based on its content.

  • Site Pools - Site Pools are specifically chosen sites for a client or campaign. These site pools (also known as site lists) are based on your, or your clients, needs. Some site pools may occur automatically and are standardized lists developed by Delta for all clients.

  • Auction type - Possibility to only bid on 1st or 2nd Price auction

  • Video Type - Possibility to select video type, and can choose between In-stream or Out-stream

  • Deals / PMP - Deals are pre-negotiated by the user and a specific publisher to pre-set a price for programmatic buying. This is therefore not auction based, but enables to buy specific inventory at a publisher for a set price. Deals are specific between users and publishers, and therefore vary between all users.
